Intorduction (Juz 21 اُتْلُ مَا أُوحِيَ)

Like every section/Juz of the Quran, Para 21 holds significant importance. Just like every verse of the Quran, this Para is filled with wisdom and guidance. Reciting and understanding this Para helps individuals navigate towards their purpose in a better way and leads to improvement in their lives. There are five Surahs in this Juz which is Surah Ankabut, Surah Roum, Surah Luqman, Surah Sajdah and Surah Al Ahzab. Among them, Surah Ankabut is the last part, while the next three are complete and Surah Al-Ahzab is the first part.

There are four things in the remaining part of Surah Ankabut:
  1. Order of recitation and prayer
  2. Virtue of prayer (that it prevents evil and indecency)
  3. Mention of enemies and their fanaticism
  4. The instability of the world

Two things are mentioned in Surah Rum: Juz 21 اُتْلُ مَا أُوحِيَ
  • It has 2 predictions
  1. Within nine years the People of the Book (Christians) of Rome would defeat the idolaters of Iran.
  2. In the same period, Muslims will be celebrating the victory over the polytheists of Quraish. (It appeared in the form of Badr)
  • Seven Signs of Allah’s Greatness in Monotheism
  1. Creating things from opposites (the living from the dead and the dead from the living).
  2. Man is born from clay
  3. Spousal love
  4. The birth of earth and heaven
  5. Night and day sleep and job search
  6. Lightning, rain and grain production
  7. Fixed system of earth and sky
There are three things in Surah Luqman: Juz 21 اُتْلُ مَا أُوحِيَ
  • Tawheed (Four Evidences of God’s Power)
  1. The pillarless sky
  2. A strong mountain
  3. Reptiles and insects
  4. Pouring rain
  • Five wills of Hazrat Luqman to his son
  1. Do not commit shirk.
  2. Allah Ta’ala will bring every small thing and action to the fore in the hereafter.
  3. Salah, Commanding with grace, Nahi an al-Munkar, Patience in trials.
  4. Be humble, avoid arrogance.
  5. Be moderate, speak in appropriate voice.
  • In the context of monotheism, it was stated that only Allah has the knowledge of five things
  1. Where and how much rain will fall?
  2. When will the resurrection come?
  3. What are the characteristics of a baby in the womb?
  4. When and where will death come?
  5. What will man do tomorrow?
There are four things in Surah Sajdah: Juz 21 اُتْلُ مَا أُوحِيَ
  1. The Greatness of the Qur’an
  2. Tawheed (He is the creator of the heavens and the earth, He is the one who plans every work, He created man after setting different stages from a single drop of water, then made him with the most attractive appearance and proportional stature.)
  3. The Day of Judgment (The guilty will stand bowed down on that day, disgrace will be upon them, they will wish to return to this world, the believers who sacrifice their comforts for Allah in this world, Allah has blessed them with such blessings in the Hereafter. prepared which no one knows.)
  4. The Torah was given to Hazrat Musa (peace be upon him) by Allah.
  • There are two things in the opening part of Surah Al-Ahzab
  1. Someone has refuted three false ideas of the Age of Ignorance:
  • He believed that some people have two hearts in their chest, said that there is only one heart, or it will have faith, or it will have disbelief.
  • Saying words of revelation does not make the wife haram forever, but by giving expiation it will become halal
  • A fake son is not the same as a real son in Shari’a rules.

2. Two conquests (the conquest of Ahzab and the conquest of Bani Qurayza) are mentioned.
