Defining of Kalma Taiba
Kalma is an Arabic word that means a statement/ declaration of allegiance to Allah. There are a total of 6 Kalimas in our beloved Mazhab Islam, which is the basic capital of a Muslim. And these 6 Kalimas are important aspects of a Muslim’s faith. The First Kalima is called “Kalima Tayyab“. And in it, Toheed has been described. The second Kalma is “Shahadat,”which describes the “virtue of Testimony” (گواہی), and the last 6 Kalimas of Islam describe the virtues of Zikar of Allah(SWT).
Virtues and importance of first Kalima in English
Kalima Tayyaba is one of the foundations of Islam. infact, say that 1st Kalma is the key to Islam. The first article on Islam is Kalima Tayyab.
“La ilaha ila Allah Muhammad Rasool Allah” means to confess that there is no god but Allah and that Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is the Messenger of Allah.
There are countless virtues of this 1nd kalma, one of which is that the person who reads 1st kalimaa with a true heart. He will definitely go to heaven.

The Hadith of Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) explains the Virtues of 1 Kalma, showing the reward and meaning of Kalimah.
Hazrat Abu Huraira narrated that they said, “O Messenger of Allah.”! Who will be the most deserving of your intercession on the Day of Judgment? Hazrat Muhammad, peace be upon him said :
“Abu Hurairah! I thought that no one would ask me about this before you because I see that you are very keen on hadith. The most fortunate person to receive my intercession on the Day of Resurrection will be the one who has recited La ilaha ila Allahu with sincere heart and soul.“
First Kalima In Arabic, English and Urdu
The first kalima arabic states that:
لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا ٱللَّٰهُ مُحَمَّدٌ رَسُولُ ٱللَّٰهِ
- 1st Kalma in english states that:
There is no god except of Allah, Muhammad is the messenger of Allah.
- The 1kalma in urdu states that:
الله کے سوا کوئ معبود نہیں، محمد صلہ الله علیہ وسلم الله کے رسول ہیں۔
1st kalima transliteration : “La ilaha ila Allah Muhammad Rasool Allah“
The Kalima is the first pillar of Islam. The meaning of kalma is a statement/ declaration of allegiance to Allah. Kalima 1 describes the toheed of Allah (SWT). Kalima with meaning clarifies that there is no god except Allah.
