Islam has six kalmas.The First is kalma Tayyaba, Second kalma Shahadat, Third kalma Tamjeed, Fourth kalma Tawheed, the 5th kalima english is also known as “Istigfar”, and the 6th kalma is radd e kufr. Istigfar is an Arabic word that means “seeking forgiveness in Allah.” Istigfar must remain needful for every sin committed knowingly or unknowingly, secretly or confidentially. A person is making a request (dua) to Allah to help their Good deeds in the future.

Virtues of 5 kalma:

the virtues of five kalma are described in following:

There are many virtues of 5 kalima because it consists of the word astaghfar, which means asking Allah for forgiveness for your sins. Reciting surah astagfar reduces sins and raises grades. Although Istighfar is a very hurtful word, within this word, Allah has placed many virtues and rewards. Hassan Basri was a great scholar and sage. Once a man who was childless came into his court(dargah) and requested prayer for children. Hasan Basri said read 5rd kalma for this.

Once, a poor man came and requested prayer for relief from poverty. The Hassan Basri said, “Recite Istighfar.”
A Landowner Requested prayer for rain. Hassan Basri said, “Recite fith kalima.”
And the man complained about the bad manners of his children and Requested for Dua. Hassan Basri still said, recite 5th Kalima.
Later, the disciples and devotees asked that these people come to pray with different kinds of suffering.
Hassan Basri Answered by reading verses of Holy Quran, which means
“O people read Istighfar; Allah is the Most Forgiving, He will shower you with much-needed rain, and He will help you with wealth and children.”
And then said that there is a remedy for all the sufferings of the people who recite 5nd kalima.

Hadith about fifth kalma

There are the hadith of  Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) about the 5 kalimas

Our Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said :

“Allah, the most praiseworthy and honorable, will accept the forgiveness of His servant till his death cycle begins.” (Tirmidhi 18)

Another hadith of prophet Muhammad (PBUH) of Sahih Al Bukhari hadith 319- Book 75

“To Him! I ask for forgiveness, from Allah and turn to Him in repentance more than seventy times a day.”

اَستَغفِرُ اللّٰہَ رَبِّی مِن کُلِّ ذَنبٍ اَذ نَبتُہ’ عَمَدًا اَو خَطَاً سِرًّ اَ عَلَانِیُُتِہً وَّ اَتُوبُ اِلَیہِ مِنَ الذَّ نبِ الّّذِی اَعلَمُ وَ مِنَ الذَّنبِ الَّذِی لَا اَعلَمُ اِنَّکَ اَنتَ عَلَّامُ الغُیُوبِ وَ سَتَّارُ العُیُوبِ وَ غَفَّارُ الذُّنُوبِ وَلَا حَولَ وَ لَا قُوَّةَ اِلَّا بِاللّٰہِ العَلِیِّ العَظِیم۔

“I seek forgiveness from Allah, who is my lord, from every guilt I committed knowingly or unknowingly, secretly or confidentially, and I repent in him court from the sin which I know and the sin which i don’t know, Certainly You (O Allah!), You (are) the knower of the hidden things and concealer (of) the mistakes and the Forgiver (of) the sins. And no power and no strength except from ALLAH, the Most High, the most Great.”

The fifth kalima transliteration/ fifth kalima translation is:

Astaghfiru-llaaha Rabbi Min Kulli Dhambin Adhnabtuhoo ‘Amadan Aw Khata-an Sirran Aw ‘Alaaniyata-wn Wa-atoobu Ilaihi Min-adh Dhambi-l Ladhee A’lamu Wamina-dh Dhambi-l Ladhi Laaa A’lamu Innaka Anta ‘Allaamu-l Ghuyoobi Wasattaaru-l ‘Uyoobi Wa Ghaffaaru-dh Dhunubi Walaa Hawla Walaa Quwwata Illaa Billaahi-l ‘Aliyyil ‘Azeem.

5th Kalma In Urdu Translation

Fifth kalima in urdu states that:

میں اپنے پروردگار اللہ سے معافی مانگتا ہوں ہر اس گناہ کی جو میں نے جان بوجھ کر کیا یا بھول کر، چھپ کر کیا یا ظاہر ہوکر۔اور میں اس کی بارگاہ میں توبہ کرتا ہوں اس گناہ کی جسے میں جانتا ہوں اور اس گناہ کی بھی جسے میں نہیں جانتا۔(اے اللہ!) بیشک تو غیبوں کا جاننے والا، عیبوں کا چھپانے والا اور گناہوں کا بخشنے والا ہے۔ اور گناہ سے بچنے کی طاقت اور نیکی کرنے کی قوت نہیں مگرا للہ کی مدد سے جو بہت بلند عظمت والا ہے۔‘‘
