Israeli Strikes on healthcare facilities in the Gaza.

The World Health Organization (WHO) has documented over 500 attacks on healthcare in the Gaza Strip since Israel’s conflict with the Palestinian enclave began.

As reported by the UN’s health agency:

  • At least 752 people have lost their lives in the attacks.
  • At least 982 others have been injured.
  • Israeli forces are currently detaining at least 128 healthcare workers.
  • A total of 110 healthcare facilities have been impacted, including 32 hospitals that sustained damage.
  • Out of 115 ambulances affected, 63 have been damaged.
  • Only 16 out of Gaza’s 36 hospitals are partially operational.
  • Of these 16 partially operational hospitals, only 12 are accessible, hindered by security concerns and infrastructure damage.
  • In Gaza City, where 17 out of 19 hospitals sustained damage, the highest number of attacks occurred, and 12 hospitals have been rendered non-operational.
