Yusuf Surah{Arabic: يوسف} is the 12th chapter of the Quran. It contains 12 Rukus, 111 verses, 1795 words,and 7307 letters. Surah e Yusuf is a Makki sura, and it opens with Muqaṭṭaʻāt ʾAlif Lām Rā الر. Surat Yousaf is located in 12 and 13 para (juz) of the Quran. Ahsan al-Qasas (the best of stories)is another name of sura yusuf. The Quran surah yusuf meaning is “Joseph.” Except for the final few verses, the entirety of Surah al-Yusuf recounts various stages of Hazrat Yousaf’s life.
