Surah Muhammad مُـحَـمَّـد number 47th surah (chapter) in Quran and it is a Madni surah.Surah Muhammad’s total ayat (verses) are 38, and it contains 4 rukus,615 words, and 2400 letters. Surat Muhammad is located in 26 para of the Quran. The title mentions the prophet of Islam directly, Muhammed (ﷺ).The meaning of surah Muhammed can be explained through the name of Muhammed, which means “admirable”.The sura’s context also identifies it as surah Al-Qitāl (Arabic: القتال), which means “fighting.” Muhammad surah deals with a particular dispute that started when some people refused to adopt and promote Islam. It relates when an army was about to attack Medina in the Battle of Badr. As per a prophetic tradition, “One who recites Sura Muhammad,God will provide him with the streams of Paradise.” The surat takes its name from Surah Muhammad ayat 2.

- The Holy Prophet (PBUH) states in the Majma’ul Bayan commentary that reciting this Surah will result in a drink from the rivers of Jannah, which will relieve one’s thirst.
- The person who recites this Surah will never question his religious beliefs.He will not involve in any type of shirk.
- Scholars say that Surah Muhammad recitation is beneficial after death as ”When a person passes away, a thousand angels will salute his grave. On the day of resurrection, he will be able to see the blessed face of our Prophet (pbuh)”.
- Abu Abdullah Ja‘far has said, “He who writes the Surat Muhammad (ﷺ) and wraps it around his neck will be protected from the enmity of the Jinn.”
- Surah Muhammad ayat 11 shows that Allah is a great guardian.Abu Abdullah Ja‘far ibn Muhammed has said that if someone writes this and carries it with them during armed conflict, it will protect them from the fear and perils that come with it.
- It gives believers direction and keeps them concentrated on their spiritual path.Besides, Surat al Muhammad exhorts Muslims to persevere through difficulties and misfortunes with patience and steadfastness.
- Surah al Qital recite is also a safety from madness. Daily recitation of Surah Muhammad wazifa for baby boy is very favorable.
