Surat Ibraheem (Arabic: إبراهيم) is the 14^th chapter of the Quran. It consists of 7 Rukus, 52 verses, 833 words, and 3541 letters. Surat Ibrahim is a Makki sura, and it opens with Muqaṭṭaʻāt letters الر. Surat Ibrahim is named after Prophet Ibrahim because it contains many verses where he prays for his children and for Muslims. The sura mainly discusses the concepts of monotheism, the Day of Judgment, and the narrative of Prophet Ibrahim’s construction of the Kaaba. This sura also recounts the narratives of Prophet Moses and the Children of Israel, Prophet Noah, and the communities of ‘Ād and Thamūd.

1. Surah Ibrahim  ayat 1 describes the Quran as a revelation intended to guide humanity out of darkness.
2. Allah has never sent a messenger to guide a nation except that the messenger spoke the language of its people.
3. Allah tasked Prophet Moses with leading his people from darkness into the light.
4. If every human being were to become a disbeliever, it would not affect Allah in any way.
5. Example of Those who don’t believe in their Lord are like ashes scattered by a strong wind on a stormy day. They won’t gain anything from what they do. That’s as far away from the right path as one can get.
6. The foundation of creation of the heavens and the earth by Allah is on Truth.
7. surah ibrahim ayat 22 mentiones that Satan’s only capability is to tempt human beings.
8. In paradise, the greeting will be “Assalam-u-Alaikum,” signifying “peace be upon you.”
9. Surah Ibrahim, ayat 24, compares a good word to a strong tree. Just like a tree with deep roots and tall branches, a good word has power and influence.
10. Quran Surah Ibrahim, ayat 27, illustrates the consequence of negative speech or actions. Just as a rotten tree lacks stability after being uprooted, a foul word lacks any lasting impact or value.

Following are the benefits of reciting this chapter of the Quran:

• The Prophet Muhammad states, “Anyone who recites Ibrahim surah and Sura Hijr will be rewarded by Allah tenfold for each believer and non-believer.”
• Moreover, according to Abu Abdullah Ja‘far ibn Muhammad, inscribing surah e ibrahim on a white cloth and fastening it to a child’s garment will alleviate the child from crying, fear, and common childhood afflictions.
• Transcribing Surah al Ibrahim onto a white cloth and affixing it to a child’s attire facilitates the process of weaning.
• Besides,the sura underscores the fundamental concept of monotheism, stressing the significance of devotion to the singular, true God. Ibrahim’s steadfast faith sets an example for believers to follow.it is one of the  lessons from surah Ibrahim.
• Ibrahim’s confidence in God’s plan, his appreciation for the blessings bestowed upon him, and his readiness to obey divine directives are commendable. The surat also emphasizes the importance of gratitude and reliance on God’s wisdom.

Blessings of Gratitude

One of the well-known verses in Sura Ibraheem is verse seven. Surat ibrahim ayat 7 reflects a precedent set by Allah. When you express gratitude to Allah for the blessings He has bestowed upon you by saying “Al-ḥamdulillāh” and demonstrate your appreciation through your deeds, He will enhance your blessings. Nevertheless, if you persist in ingratitude and continual complaints, be aware that Allah’s punishment is severe, and you will face consequences for your lack of gratitude.

وَ اِذْ تَاَذَّنَ رَبُّكُمْ لَىٕنْ شَكَرْتُمْ لَاَزِیْدَنَّكُمْ وَ لَىٕنْ كَفَرْتُمْ اِنَّ عَذَابِیْ لَشَدِیْدٌ(7)
