At Tur (Arabic: الطور) is the 52nd chapter of the Quran. The sura is located in 27 para (juz) of the Quran and t consists of 2 Rukus, 49 verses, 312 words, and 1324 letters. This Meccan surat takes its name from verse 1, where Allah swears by Mount Tur, among other things, to affirm the inevitability of the Day of Judgment.The Surah tur meaning is The Mount Tur. The surah e Tur responds to many of the arguments posed to the Prophet by the disbelievers of Mecca. The surah compares the blessings of believers will enjoy with the torments of Hell. In this surah, the Prophet is encouraged to be patient, persist in delivering his message, and await God’s judgment with confidence.

Surah At Tur benefits
Following are the recitation of surah at tur benefits and rewrds:
- According to Tafsir Majma‘ al-Bayan, the Prophet said, “Whoever recites At Tur Surah , Allah promises to save them from the punishment of hell and admit them into paradise.”
- According to another narration from Imam al-Baqir and Imam al-Sadiq , whoever recites Surah Al Tur will receive blessings from Allah in this world and the Hereafter.
- Jubair bin Mut`im narrated that his father said, “I heard Allah’s Messenger (PBUH) recite Surah At-Tur (52) in the Maghrib prayer.”
- Mufti Shafi Usmani (may Allah have mercy on him) mentioned regarding Surah At Tur Ayat 48:
وَ اصْبِرْ لِحُكْمِ رَبِّكَ فَاِنَّكَ بِاَعْیُنِنَا وَ سَبِّحْ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّكَ حِیْنَ تَقُوْمُ(48)
In the Musnad of Imam Ahmad Ibn Hanbal, on the authority of Sayyidna `Ubadah Ibn Samit, who reported that the Holy Prophet (PBUH) said: “Whoever wakes up at night and recites:
‘La ilaha illallah wahdahu la sharika lahu, lahul mulku wa lahul hamdu wa huwa `ala kulli shay’in qadir.
Subhanallah walhamdu lillah, wa la ilaha illallah wallahu akbar, wa la hawla wa la quwwata illa billah.’
Then, if they intend to pray and perform ablution, Allah will accept their prayers.
Believing Descendants of Believers Will Enter Paradise
Surah Tur Ayat 21 states:
وَ الَّذِیْنَ اٰمَنُوْا وَ اتَّبَعَتْهُمْ ذُرِّیَّتُهُمْ بِاِیْمَانٍ اَلْحَقْنَا بِهِمْ ذُرِّیَّتَهُمْ وَ مَاۤ اَلَتْنٰهُمْ مِّنْ عَمَلِهِمْ مِّنْ شَیْءٍؕ-كُلُّ امْرِئٍۭ بِمَا كَسَبَ رَهِیْنٌ(21)
“And those who believed and whose descendants followed them in faith – We will join with them their descendants, and We will not deprive them of anything of their deeds. Every person, for what he earned, is retained.”
This is another tremendous blessing enjoyed by the dwellers of paradise. This verse emphasizes the continuity of faith and the reward for those who believe in Allah and pass down their faith to their descendants. They will cherish their companionship as they did in their worldly lives. It assures that Allah will not deprive those who maintain faith and righteous deeds of their rewards. It also emphasizes that each person will be held accountable for his actions. And he will receive his just rewards based on his deeds.
