Surah Maoon english translation

In the Name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Ever-Merciful

Did you see him who denies the Din ?

So he is one, who drives away the orphan,

And does not urge the feeding of the needy

Woe to those who pray

But are heedless of their prayers

Who show off

And who refuse to lend a worthless small object of use even on demand.

Neglecting Prayers in Surah Maun

There are several forms of neglecting prayers, such as not praying regularly, not praying at the correct times, and not properly fulfilling the obligatory and necessary aspects of the prayers. Not praying together without a valid excuse, neglecting the importance of prayer, making up missed prayers in solitude, praying in front of people, etc.

Lessons learn from Surah Maun

Do good deeds solely for the sake of Allah (SWT): Allah (SWT) criticized the hypocrites for concealing their disbelief and displaying their good deeds to impress others. Similarly, a Muslim should scrutinize their intentions in all actions, purifying them solely for the sake of Allah (SWT), as this is the only path to receiving their reward.

Do not delay or neglect your prayers: Allah (SWT) warned of severe consequences for those who delay or neglect their prayers. A Muslim should always pray promptly upon hearing the Adhan, without hesitation.
