Surah al jumuah (Friday) {arabic: ٱلْجُمُعَةِ } is the 62nd chapter (surah) of the Quran Majeed. Total verses of Surat Juma are 11, and it contains 2 rukus,177 words with 768 letters. The surah’s title is derived from surah juma ayat 9. Surah e juma is a Madni surah, and it is located in 28 para(juz) of the Quran. The meaning of juma is ‘’the day of assembly’’. The surah talks about the imprudence of Jews in obeying the commands of Allah and too much of their involvement in worldly affairs. Ibn Abbas and Abu Huraira narrated that ”the Prophet of Allah used to recite surah al jummah and surah munafiqun during the Friday prayer”.It is also known as Jumma Day Surah.

Surah al Jumuah ayat 10
Surah Juma ayat 10 english translation:
”Then when the prayer is over, spread out on the earth and seek the grace of Allah (Q24) and remember Allah a lot in the hope that you will find success”.
Surah al Jumuah ayat 11
Surah Juma ayat 11 english translation:
” And when you saw a trade or a sport towards him and left you in the sermon , you should say that it belongs to Allah (F27) Trade and Allah’s sustenance are better than sport”.
Importance of Jumuah {Friday prayer}
The following hadith shows the importance of salatul jumuah:
A hadith about the importance of jummah is that “On the day of Jumu’ah, whomever does Ghusl (good), departs early, walks rather than rides, sits near the Imam, listens without speaking, and receives the reward of performing standing (in prayer) and fasting for a full year for each step he takes.”
Friday is one of your best days. You should often ask Allah to bless you; He will grant such requests from you. (Abu Dawud)
Our prophet hazrat Muhammad (pbuh) said “On Fridays, angels sit at the masjids’s doors and keep tabs on everyone attends the Jumu’ah prayer. The angels then roll up their scriptures when the imam comes”.
Abu Huraira reported this hadith: “The five (mandatory) prayers, Friday prayer to the (next) Friday prayer, and Ramadan to the next Ramadan, are expiation for the sins committed in between them, provided that major sins are stayed away from.”
