Al Imran (Arabic: آل عِمْرَانَ) is the 3rd chapter (surah) of the Quran. It contains 20 rukus, 200 verses, 3503 words, and 15336 letters. Surah Ali Imran is a Madi, and it is located in 3–4 juz (para) of the Quran. Surah al imran, meaning ”Family of Imran”,and this sura is open with muqaṭṭaʻāt letters Alif Lam Meem. This surah comprises four discourses. The Sura begins by affirming fundamental truths about Allah, Revelation, and the afterlife (1-32). It then addresses Christians, inviting them to Islam and dispelling misconceptions about Jesus’ divinity (33-65). The Quran warns Muslims about the intentions of the Jews and urges them to learn from history (66–120). The Battle of Uhud highlights lessons, emphasizing moral virtues and prohibiting greed (121–175). The Sura reassures Muslims against enemy plots (175–189) before concluding (190-200) in alignment with its overarching theme.

  1. Our beloved Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said to Muadh (may Allah be pleased with him), “Shall I not teach you a supplication that, when used to beseech Allah, He will settle your debts, even if they are as enormous as Mount Uhud?” Then he mentioned it to him (Surah al imran ayat 26–27).
  2. Besides,Abdullah ibn Masud (may Allah be pleased with him) said, “How splendid a treasure surat al Imran becomes for the destitute when he recites it in prayer during the latter part of the night.”
  3. Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said, “Recite the two radiant ones, Sura Baqarah and Surah al e imran, for they will appear on the Day of Resurrection like two clouds, or two shades, or two flocks of birds, interceding for their reciters.”
  4. Our Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, “The most magnificent name of Allah, which, when used to beseech Him, He responds, is found in three surahs: Al-Baqarah, Al Imran surah, and Taha.”
  5. Moreover, Imam Ja’far as-Sadiq (may Allah be pleased with him) advised that if someone encounters difficulties in earning a livelihood, they should inscribe Surah Al-Imran and wear it as an amulet, as Allah will significantly enhance their sustenance.
  6. Besides,when one recites qulillahumma malikal mulki sura al Imran on Friday, the mercy of Allah and the angels seek forgiveness for the reciter.
