Al-Ghashiya.(الغاشية) is the 87th surah of the Quran. It consist of 26 ayats and found in Para 30th. Name Al Gashiyah or in the English language , the Al-Ghashiyah, The Overwhelming Event, taken from Verse 1 where there is a mention of the word ”Ghashiya”. The Overwhelming Event is another name used for the Day of Judgement. The Arabic term “ghashiyah” signifies something that envelops completely.

Evidence of the Hereafter in Surah Ghashiya
In Surah Ghashiya, a subtle proof for the Hereafter is presented from the chapter’s outset. It suggests that to comprehend the Resurrection and the Hereafter, one should observe the creation of the world and its current system.
The same God who created the universe is capable of creating it in a different form, and the Hereafter is essentially this world recreated in a different form.
This serves as one of the proofs of Qiyamah: by comparing the end of creation to its beginning.
The example of the camel is given because these verses were revealed in Mecca, where people were very familiar with camels.
