Surah Bayyinah (Arabic text: البينة) The English meaning is ‘’The Clear Proof’’ is the 98th chapter of the Quran found in the 30th para or juz. This surah is composed of a total 8 verses and 94 words. Scholars disagree on the timing of the revelation of Sūrah al-Bayyinah. Some consider it a Madinan Sūrah, while others regard it as Makkan. However, there is a greater likelihood that it is a Madinan Surah because it specifically discusses the Ahl al-Kitāb and their reaction to the revelation, a theme more common in Madinan revelations due to the limited presence of Ahl al-Kitāb in Makkah. Another name of this Surah is Sūrah Lam Yakunil.

Surah Bayyinah Summary
This surat focuses on the significant subject of God presenting evidence to the polytheists and disbelievers regarding His guidance, and it also distinguishes between the best and worst of His creation.

When someone recites this Surah at night, Almighty Allah sends angels to protect the reciter. And also ensures the security of their faith. The angels also pray for forgiveness on their behalf.
The reward for reciting this Surah is equivalent to the value of everything on Earth that is touched by the sun’s rays.
Ja‘far bin Muhammad al-Sadiq (peace be upon him) narrated that those who recite this chapter will be protected from shirk (polytheism), accepted into the Prophet’s creed, and granted an easy trial by God.
