Surah Al Asar mp3 download by Syed Sudais
Al-Asr (Arabic: العصر) in English, meaning ”The Declining Day, The Epoch, Time” is the 103rd surah of the Quran Pak. This surat consists of a total 3 ayats or verses. This Surah is also known as Surah Wal Asr, meaning the time. Surat al-‘Asr is the third shortest chapter, following Al-Kawthar and Al-Nasr. It is shorter than Al-Nasr by just two words in its third verse.
The simple translation of the word “asr” is “time.” Allah swears an oath by time—a finite and limited resource that will eventually come to an end. This time must be utilized to its fullest, as it is precious and should be maximized by us, humankind, to gain the most from our brief existence.
