In our beloved religion Islam, there are different types of duroods such as Durood Sharif, Durood Ibrahimi and Durood Tanjeena etc. And all of them have great merit and importance. Similarly, Durood-e-Taaj is also one of those Duroods which is of great importance. Durood Taj is a short Durood and is recited to fulfill very important wishes. By reciting Durood Taj, the visitation of Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) is blessed. Durood Taj is also recited for protection from enemies and healing from diseases.
Benefits of reading Durood-e-Taaj
There are the benefits and wazaif of Durood e taj.
A person who wears pure clothes and puts on perfume on the Friday night of the first to the fourteenth day of the month of Arj (i.e. from the 1st to the 14th of the lunar month) after the Isha prayer and performs ablution should go to bed after reciting Durood-e-Taaj 170 times. And if he does this for eleven nights, then he will get the visitation of Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH),IN SHA ALLAH.
By reciting Durood-e-Taaj 11 times, one gets rid of jinn, devil and smallpox (چیچک کی بیماری).
To purify the heart,Durood-e-Taaj is recited 60 times after Fajr prayer, 3 times after Asr prayer and 3 times after Isha prayer.
Durood-e-Taaj is recited 41 times after Isha prayer till 40 nights in order to be safe from the evil of enemies, oppressors, envious people and rulers.
The Wazif of Durood Taj is done after Isha prayer 7 times for blessing in sustenance (Rizq).
Wa qaba qawsayni matlubuhu. Wal-matlubu maqsuduhu wal-maqsudu mawjuduh. Sayyidil mursalin. Khatimin nabiyyeena shafi`il mudhnibin. Anisil gharibeena rahmatil lil `alamin. Rahatil `ashiqeen. Muradil mushtaqeen. Shamsil `arifeen. Sirajis salikeen Misbahil muqarrabeen. Muhibbil fuqara’ay wal-ghuraba’ay wal-masakeen. Sayyidith thaqalaynay nabiyyil haramayn. imamil qiblatayn. Waseelatina fid darayn. Sahibi qaba qawsayni mahbubi rabbil mashriqayni wal-maghribayn. Jadd al-hasani wal-husayn mawlana wa mawlath thaqalayn Abil Qasimi MUHAMMAD dibni `Abdillahi nurinm min nurillahi yaa ayyuhal mushtaquna bi nuri jamalihi sallu `alayhi wa alihi wa ashabihi wa sallimu taslima.

Translation of darood e taj in english states that:
O Allah, send prayers upon our master and patron Muhammad (PBUH), the possessor of the crown, the Miʿraj, the Buraaq and the flag, the repeller of hardships, epidemics, droughts, diseases and pain. His name is written, exalted, combined and engraved upon the tablet and pen.
The master of both Arabs and non-Arabs, whose body is sanctified, fragrant, pure and illuminated in the House and the Sanctuary. Muhammad (PBUH) is the bright sun, the full moon of the dark night, the foremost in loftiness, the light of guidance, the cave of refuge for mankind, the lantern in darkness. He is of beautiful character, the intercessor for nations, the possessor of graciousness and generosity, Allah is his protector, Gabriel his servant, the Buraq his mount, the Mi’raj his voyage, the Lote Tree of the Uppermost Limit his station, two bows’ length or nearer the object of his quest, that which is sought is that which he desires, and that which he desires is that which he finds.
He is the master of the Messengers, the Seal of the Prophets, the intercessor of sinners, the comforter of strangers, the mercy for the worlds, the delight of divine lovers, the object of yearning, the sun of the gnostics, the lamp for travellers upon the path to Allah, the lantern of those brought near, the lover of the poor, the strangers and the destitute, the master of the two weighty things (humans and Jinn), the Prophet of the two sanctuaries, the Imam of the two Qiblas, our means of salvation in both abodes, the one at two bows length, the beloved of the Lord of the two Easts and the two Wests,
