Allah’s blessings are innumerable in the world. If we start counting them, we cannot count them because they are countless. All blessings have been created by Allah Almighty for humans. The purpose of this post of mine today is to draw attention to the forces and powers of Allah Ta’ala. So many screens, complex calculations, large number of buttons and complicated controls are all made for the orderly flight of an airplane.
But the interesting thing is that:
Pigeons, hawks, parrots and other birds all have complex calculations, height and speed, estimation of weight, direction of flight, organization of time, arrangements for finding food and protection from the enemy, calculation of take off and landing, high and low. Flights, all without radar, GPS, control rooms and satellites, with just a two-gram brain. What Allah the Almighty says about this in Surah Al-Nahl verse 79
“Do they not see the birds held in the atmosphere of the sky? None holds them up except Allah. Indeed, in that are signs for a people who believe.”
This verse encourages reflection on the miracle of birds in flight, sustained by Allah’s power. Birds are able to stay in the sky, not because of any visible support, but because of the unseen laws Allah has placed in creation. This sight, as highlighted in the verse, serves as a sign or reminder for believers of Allah’s control over all things. The verse invites believers to ponder creation and recognize Allah’s unique ability to create and sustain the universe, emphasizing that such signs are for those who believe and are mindful of His presence.
